Paul Pasquali

A life devoted to the accordion

Known to most people for inventing the Concerto accordion and creating & hosting the Las Vegas International Accordion Convention. Paul has been in the accordion manufacturing and importation business for over 38 years both with Accordions International (in Salt Lake City, UT) and prior with Colombo & Sons Accordion Corporation (in San Rafael, CA).

What many don’t know is that Paul actually plays and teaches the accordion. He studied both Piano & Accordion for 11 years growing up before going on to major in music at Brigham Young University.

During college Paul was fortunate to play out as a gigging musician, which paid for nine years of college including living expenses while he receiving several degrees. For over 45 years Paul has remained active teaching private accordion lessons and in the last ten years running a music camp for accordionists and for the past 20 years in his spare time organizing the annual accordion convention in Las Vegas.

Currently, Paul serves on the board of the Accordionists & Teachers Guild, International - as well as is the board of the local Wasatch Accordion Club.

Arranging music has been a hobby and often a necessity. Teaching, he has found it vital to make arrangements for his students and for the Camp attendees that include dynamics and phrasing which are often omitted in much of todays printed music. Paul invites you to look at the ever-growing library of arrangements.
